The International Screen focuses on showing the best animation from around the world. The screen changes its programme over the 6 weeks of the Small World Festival. From 22 July - 4 August you can see 10 films; we are proud to present the UK premieres of Disney's Glago's Guest from the USA, The Cat Piano from Australia and Deconstruction Workers from Norway both having been featured in leading festivals in New York and Adelaide. From 5 - 18 August we present Channel 4's recently commissioned films by Animate TV and to finish 19 August - 1 Sept we present another selection of 10 of leading short animations in the World.

The Student Screen features some of the most outstanding work from the past 5 years by students from the Royal College of Art in London, England, Supinfocom in Valenciennes, France and The Animation Workshop in Viborg, Denmark. These are three of the leading animation courses in the world and Small World brings together their work.

The RCA is the world's only university of art and design devoted solely to postgraduate degrees in fine art, applied art, design, communications and humanities. These films were produced by students on the MA Animation course.

Pig Me
